The series, starring Daniel Muñoz and Tamara Acosta, tells the story of the Herrera family, a middle class family living in Santiago of Chile. The plot is situated between 1982 and 1989, during the military dictatorship, and revolves around the various historical events of 1980, especially the great economic crisis of that year, the 8.0 magnitude earthquake in Santiago, and the plebiscit for the return to democracy.
