Every 350,000 years, the comet "Bay-Leder 7" comes so close to Earth that it can be seen with the naked eye. In 2010 it is that time again and Gregor Starndorf, whose Starndorf Institute (NLOSI) discovered the comet, and his daughter Anna observe the comet at a reception at the United States Embassy in Berlin. After a collision with an unregistered asteroid, the comet changes its orbit and threatens to crash into Earth in the Northern Hemisphere over Russia.
