Hungry, the young samurai Ryuma is saved from certain death by a generous waitress, who offers him a meal without expecting anything in return. As he regains his strength, a strange man by the name of Cyrano, reputed to have saved the city from a terrible dragon in the past, angers Ryuma by touching his saber without his consent. From this affront then engages a duel to the death, barely interrupted by the waitress. But as Ryuma resumes his journey, a mighty destructive dragon attacks the city, shortly after an unknown person begins to peddle malicious rumors about the wandering warrior, claiming to have been attacked by the latter, who would have freed the dragon by breaking the horn he was carrying. Very quickly, Ryuma understands that the stranger and Cyrano are in cahoots and that they are using the dragon as a pretext to plunder the riches of the cities they visit! Guided by his courage and the desire to protect the waitress who reached out to him when he was in need, Ryuma decides to hunt the winged creature to protect the city and clear his honor.
