This dark comedy based on an award-winning cult theater play tells the story of the Brosh family who lost their young son, Michael, and hold a memorial ceremony in his name every year. The family is a bit of an odd one. Rivka, Michael’s mother, has lived for years with her brother, Dubi, and the two function like mental Siamese twins. Yasminish, Rivka’s teenage daughter, has to live in what was Michael’s room and cannot change anything in it. Old aunt, Tota, is a former Olympic champion who refuses to die, and there’s Peleg, Michael’s silent childhood friend. The daily situations, bizarre relationships in the family and their way of coping with Michael’s absence are what make the series funny and touching.
