A woman returns to her mothers hometown, Peppermint Hollow, to get the seed money for a new business with her friend, by selling her mothers childhood home. Upon meeting the renters, and her mothers long time friend and her family, they welcome her into their home and offer her to spend the holidays with them when the weather keeps her from leaving town, letting her learn the value of family, friends and Christmas.
