Time of Your Life was a wonderful "Party of Five" spin-off, that followed Sarah Reeves Merrin (a popular "Party of Five" character, played by Jennifer Love Hewitt), who left her long-time boyfriend Bailey in San Francisco to search for her birth father in New York. There, she moved into her mother's old apartment and met new friends. Romy (Jennifer Garner) her actress rommate, Cecilia (Pauley Perrette) her landlord, Mag (Jonathon Schaech) the guy who works in the music store across the street and her sometimes boyfriend, Joss (Gina Ravera) her co-worker at a bar and Mag's "friend with benefits", and J.B (Diego Serrano) the man that lives in the building across from theirs and Romy's sometimes boyfriend. Sarah decided to stay in New York and tried to start her new life there. Jennifer Love Hewitt won the 2000 People's Choice Award for best female performer in new television series for her role in Time of Your Life.
