Kai Schröder, known as "Turbo", and his buddy Andreas "Tacho" Tachinski were not exactly police students by any stretch of the imagination. Nevertheless, the haphazard duo successfully manoeuvred their way through training thanks to full physical commitment and cheeky snouts. Moreover, the two have been close friends since early childhood and have always shared the dream of becoming police officers and rising to become the best cops in their department. But the career of the two boys in the supposedly glorious police service has hardly begun when it comes to an end: an undercover operation in the villa of the criminal Rico turns out to be so hair-raising that the two slobs are summarily sent back to their precinct. The Dortmund-Nord police station is now the only one in the whole of Germany that is still prepared to adjust its turbo and speedometer.
