A man named Tetsunosuke Sasaki came to serve as a page under Toshiro Hijikata, the vice-commander of the Shinsengumi demons. This Tetsunosuke is from the prestigious Sasaki family, which produced many of the elite of the shogun's retainers, but he was an incorrigible troublemaker, and was sent to the Shinsengumi after being sent around to various police stations.
