Far out, in the middle of the hostile emptiness of space, a group of strangers from different earth times awakes together on board a dark alien transport spaceship. They neither know how they got into this situation nor what to expect, but soon an unknown force plays with the fragments of their memories and forces them to face their worst nightmares. Together the prisoners try to find a way out of the inescapable trap and the only help they have left is a sixth being in their midst: The alien intelligence SERA is part of a secret military project from their first encounter with the alien worlds, and now it could become the saving angel of all mankind. At least, if the involuntary guests of this cosmic ride through hell are not torn to pieces by the threateningly approaching tentacles of a completely different life form.
