The film focuses on the lives of Palestinian refugees in Jordan during the late 1960s. Tariq, 12, lives with his mother at the refugee camp in Jerash, Jordan. The mother and son are separated from the father and Tarek is diagnosed with autism but at the same time is full of energy and activity.
