This is a fictional story about a fictional popular band leader and clarinetist named Ted Todd, set in the 1890s to 1920s New York City, performed by a popular band leader and clarinetist named Ted Lewis. Many of the original band members, including Muggsy Spainer, of the Ted Lewis Orchestra, appear in this fictional film.
