Charlotte Melodrigkeit takes speach lessons from the retired actress Bettina Zumwege. When Charlotte dies during one of those lessons, she leaves a fortune to Bettina. The condition is that Bettina takes revenge on various people who wronged Charlotte. Only, the hard part is that those people aren't just anybody.
