Farmer Jindrich doesn't care about the girls in his town. He dreams of an enchanted princess waiting for him somewhere in the world. He then he goes out into the world from his village to find his princess. He meets a magical witch who shows him the way to the mill. There he met a mill pond aquarium and a little devil. They are both in love with the miller's beautiful daughter, Elischka, and are very jealous of her seemingly new rival. But Jindrich only thinks of his enchanted princess somewhere in the world.
