Sultan and Mehmet are a loving married couple. After saving some money, they want to settle in Bozdağ and start a new life there. Abbas, the village agha, attacks Sultan one day when Mehmet is working in the fields and wants to take her by force. Mehmet catches up and Abbas Agha is shot during the fight. Thinking that Abbas Aga is dead, Mehmet runs away. But he will return to his village to save Sultan.
