Sicily, 1950. Debrha, a young woman of foreign origin, arrives in a small village with her husband Turi. Her beauty and skin color provoke suspicion and hostility among the local women. After a tragic accident, Debrha becomes entangled in a series of events that challenge the familial and social dynamics of the village.
