Rita is saved from a fatal fall while skiing by a local guide called Chailla Babu in Kashmir. Rita finds Chailla in multiple avatars in the course of her tour and they soon become fast friends. However, Rita is forced to return to Mumbai after she is informed that her uncle has been murdered and that Chailla is the prime suspect.
