Carlos is a writer immersed in his latest novel. In it he describes the life of Ángel Arriaga, an imprisoned serial killer. Carlos has the opportunity to interview Ángel, who reveals his most intimate secrets to him. On the way home, Carlos receives a call from the police notifying him that Arriaga has committed suicide in his cell. As a result of this call, Carlos's life changes, everything falls apart with each step he takes, his relationship becomes complicated, he feels that he is no longer the same, it is as if Angel took hold of him, provoking violent impulses that he cannot control.
