Young Juraj Jánošík goes to the city to study as a priest in the seminary, because the landlord granted him permission to study. Several years pass and young Jánošík becomes a young man. Just as he comes home to visit his parents, he has no idea what a great injustice and tragedy is happening to his parents. His mother died, and his father has to take care of the funeral. Which meant he neglected his obligatory work on his landlord's estates. However, the law enforcement officers have no mercy on the abused father. He must be flogged because he has broken his duty. Young Juraj Jánošík beats up several officers, take his father away, but he dies. This tragedy changes Jánošík's plans, his studies are over. In order to save his life, Juraj runs away to the mountains. There he meets bandits. When he beats up the leader of the bandits, they want him as a leader. And the former student of the seminary goes on a rampage. His motto becomes: take from the rich and give to the poor, and right the wrongs.
