Telefilm inspired by the book by Bernardo Santareno, adapted by Cláudia Clemente and directed by Ana Cunha. The story of a young priest who takes the side of the population in the struggle for better living and working conditions in a small Portuguese village, in the late 1960s. Following complaints from the patronage, the bishop decides to move the priest to another parish . When the people learn of his forced departure, he revolts and unites to prevent him from leaving the village.
