Upon death, the owner of a fishing boat leaves its ownership to a niece of his. As the young woman does not know the things of the sea, she puts herself in the hands of another uncle of hers. But this one turns out to be an unscrupulous guy who wants to sell the boat. The skipper of the ship, aided by his crew, will try to prevent the sale and, in the process, fall in love with the owner.
