After a three-year absence, Fire Police Chief Sgt. Richard Haller returns to Munich. The reason for his departure was the decision of his fiancée at the time, Hilde Meindl, to separate from him. Now Haller's old colleagues welcome him back. Haller's first official mission takes him to a factory that makes chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
