Pierre Guimard worked for many years on an oil rig off the coast of Siberia. Far from his two children, Audrey and Nicolas, whom he hardly saw growing up, and from his wife, Catherine, who, like a sailor's wife, has learned to live without him. This situation is now over. Pierre is in fact taking his early retirement.
