Three women in conflict (played by the same actress, Lucélia Santos), for lack of a strong father presence in their childhood: a writer, whose relationship with the husband is falling apart; a passive woman having to face an opressive and empty marriage; and a young woman who've decided to get shelter in a world of her own.
