Mariella discovers that her husband Giovanni, a rich lawyer, has cheated on her with a girl from the outskirts of Rome, Tamara, who is much younger and more attractive. At the same time also Walter, Tamara's partner, discovers that her girlfriend has betrayed him; as a result, the two couples decide to separate. Just as Giovanni and Tamara are about to leave their respective homes, the decree is issued with the new anti-contagion measures to keep the 2020 COVID-19 epidemic in Italy under control, including forced quarantine. The two couples, therefore, will have to learn to live together and to tolerate each other, between betrayals and lies.
