Berggasse 19

Drama
Sigmund Freud, a practicing neurologist at Berggasse 19 in Vienna, is visited by a young man named Friedrich Wohlmuth. His sister-in-law suffers from rheumatic leg pain. The grief began after her father passed away, whom he cared for for a year and a half. Shortly after her death, Elisabeth began caring for her sister, Wohlmuth's wife. After three years, she too died and the pain worsened significantly. Meanwhile, the young woman can only walk on crutches. Reluctantly and with great discomfort, Sigmund Freud accepts the new patient. But his treatment, including hypnosis, which is frowned upon in specialist circles, doesn't work.
