Mat was instructed by Tok Penghulu (village chief) to find the root of the Apollo tree to be used as a medicine to create toyol by Tok Bomoh. The tok bomoh's wife who is sullen and upset with him has taken herself to the forest and hid in a cave. Mat gave to the Tok Bomoh a potion that he stole from the cave of the tok bomoh's wife hide, who had turned into a nenek kebayan. The Tok Bomoh chose to mix it with chicken eggs. When he drink the potion he find himself turned into a hen. Mat then tries to restore Tok Bomoh back to ithis original form.
