The film deals with the experiences of a mother who is struggling with life alone. Increasing unemployment in the country leads to the breakup of many families. The couple Saliha and Sevki, who live in a slum, are one of these families. When Şevki's unemployment is added to the gambling debt, things become difficult for the family. Unable to bear her husband's indifference, Saliha finally kicks him out of the house. However, Saliha, who has been working as a cleaner for a while, cannot make a living this way. He is forced to ask for help from his old friend Emel, who is a prostitute.
