Louis Nye, born Louis Neistat, was a straight-faced comic actor whose television career spanned a half-century. Louis Nye earned his greatest fame as a regular on The Steve Allen Show. Some of his best-remembered roles were as Sonny Drysdale on The Beverly Hillbillies, various voices for the Inspector Gadget cartoon show, and as Jeff Greene's dad on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
