The street vendor Denílson lives in the suburb of Rio de Janeiro. His life changes when he finds out that his mother had a torrid love affair with a rich man who, on the verge of death, left a fortune for him, his only biological son. However, along with the fortune, the street vendor inherits the dissatisfied and indebted family of the deceased, who does everything to get his hands on this inheritance.
