A successful St. Petersburg advertiser Maxim Tretyakov, returning home from a corporate party, gets into an accident, as a result of which the gypsy Rosa dies. Maxim is charged with manslaughter, but an expensive lawyer wins the case. At the exit from the courthouse, Tretyakov encounters the husband of the deceased woman, who tells him that Rosa was not just a fortune-teller, but a fairy who saved human lives. Now, in retaliation for his atrocity, Maxim will have to take her place, otherwise people close to him will perish ...
