Gisbert
1 season • 1999 • Ended

Comedy
"I only wanted to help!" - a key sentence from Gisbert, the wonderfully clumsy, always overzealous, sometimes annoying know-it-all employee of a temporary employment agency. He likes to do his best - and that is usually too much of a good thing - so his stay in the various jobs that his employment agent, Mrs. Schlacke, assigns him is only short. As a train conductor for the commercial railway, a detective in a supermarket, an interpreter at a state reception, a temporary worker in an advertising agency, a German teacher for foreigners - Gisbert's enthusiastic attempts to do everything 150% of the time leave behind real chaos and plenty of exasperated employers. He doesn't exactly drive Mrs. Schlacke crazy, but at least he has a highly unhealthy addiction to chocolates. Her attempt to get Gisbert back on his feet with a therapy course is bound to fail, given his talent for getting himself into trouble and not missing a single faux pas.
