Unexpected wealth falls on the former orphanage, and now the young aerialist Polina - a mysterious admirer of her talent gives her one of his country houses. The gift does not bring happiness - Polina loses her best friend, the illusionist Aglaya: Aglaya's fiancé, the handsome tamer Herman, like many others, begins to snatch after the newly-made "princess of the circus."
