Jimena Torres is an experienced war reporter who, after years of trying, finally gets a permit to enter North Korea. She officially travels to cover a gymnastics festival, but her lover, also a reporter Richi Ortega, knows her true intentions. The journalist tries to unmask what is happening under the surface of the most opaque country in the world. Jimena, however, does not have the close surveillance to which she will be subjected by Ernesto, a Cuban under the orders of the North Korean government. But neither he nor the entire spy apparatus will be able to prevent Jimena from being submerged in the darkest secret of the Asian country. A secret that, if revealed, could trigger World War III.
