Esther, Julia, Celeste and Margarita have known each other for many years and share a dream of getting ahead in life. Tragedy puts them in a vulnerable position. Esther loses her only son in an accident; Julia faces her husband’s disappearance and Margarita dies, leaving María del Rayo, “Ray”, orphaned.
