Rasika is related to the royal family. Her family is in debt with the bank and soon they would repossess her home. Her mother at the same time has fallen in love with a rich Chinese man, Rab's father. But Rasika doesn't want her mother to get involved with anyone outside of their race. Her mother marries him and he saves their home on one condition: if Rasika marries his youngest son Rat. On the day of their engagement Rat didn't show up, but Rab gets engaged to her instead.
