One night the renowned surgeon, Filippos Razis finds an abandoned 12-year-old Roma girl outside the hospital, writhing in pain. He himself is off duty, but seeing that time is not on her side, he decides to operate on her. In the operating room he realizes that the girl's kidney is missing.
