Nantawadee and Nucharee, half-sisters, face family disapproval. Nucharee's mother offers Nantawadee an inheritance to move in with their grandmother. Nantawadee agrees but resents it and eventually steals Nucharee's fiance. Later, Nadda, an ambassador's secretary, falls for Nucharee, prompting Nantawadee to pursue him after divorcing her husband.
