The series chronicles a couple's quest to find their missing 14-year-old daughter. A thousand pitfalls encountered - discouragement, differences of point of view, family dissensions, lack of collaboration from the police authorities - will not overcome their determination and their faith, often put to the test. Young Florent encounters by chance a strange old man, Ratablavasky, whom no one knows and who helps him realize his dream: buying a restaurant.
