A poor Chinese family gave up their youngest son, Chai, to a family friend who needed a child. Years later, Chai, now irresponsible, learns about his adoption and travels to Thailand to find his birth family. There, he meets the Song family, who run a rice porridge business. After winning a "Mr. Chinatown" competition, Chai is robbed by the Song family's siblings and suffers amnesia. He later joins their family business. Over time, Chai regains his memory and falls in love with Mungchu.
