Kang Qiao, a Chinese businessman, partnered with Inthuwon in the construction business but ultimately betrayed him, causing a building collapse that killed many and framing Inthuwon for the disaster. Inthuwon’s younger brother, Inthawong, sought revenge but was ultimately killed along with his entire family—unbeknownst to Kang Qiao, Inthuwon’s son survived and was raised as his adopted son under the name Punin (Peter).
