Saen offered himself as a palace servant to King Borommakot at the age of 8 and was favored by the Crown Prince, because he was the youngest and very handsome. Saen became close to three other young palace servants: Khun Yai, Khun Lek, and Khun Klang. Together, the four of them worked to restore Ayutthaya and rebuild the city after its fall.
