Takamine Ruka (aka Taka Ruka) and Seto Ruka (aka Seto Ruka) are ordinary high school girls who attend the local Nozomigaoka High School. The two childhood friends have always been together since they were young, so they are called "Rukaruka" by those around them. The two decided to make plastic models at the urging of their advisor.
