Welcome to The Book Bird guide at TV Tome. John Robbins created The Book Bird based on his Cover To Cover theme. He would introduce a book and some of its characters. Then a narrator would read passages from the book over original illustrations (Robbins's and others'). Almost always, the narration would stop at a "cliffhanger" moment. Robbins then encouraged the pre-teen audience to go to their library, check out the featured book, and read to see what happens next. There is no editor for this show.
