"ICHABOD AND ME," is a comedy series about an ex-New Yorker who buys a small New England newspaper, had its premiere Tuesday, Sept. 26, 1961 on the CBS Television Network (9:30-10:00 PM). Robert Sterling stars as Bob Major, the transplanted big-city man; George Chandler co-stars as Ichabod, a salty New Englander; Christine White portrays his daughter, Abby; and Jimmy Mathers plays Major's son.
