This series describes the trials of a New York family trying to operate a broken down New Mexico dude ranch. The attitudes of Bill, Babs and Brook toward life in "the wide open spaces" were not promising. Hawkeyes is a wily redskin who sold them their ramshackle ranch in the first place, but is willing to buy it back from them any time, for a small percentage of what they paid.
