When a man awakens alone in the desert, shackled with a hood over his head, he is discovered by a woman and nursed back to health. However, upon regaining consciousness, it is discovered that he has amnesia, and the only clue to his identity is a piece of paper in his pocket with the name "Manny Elder" on it. This discovery sends him on a journey into his past, where things and people are not as they seem.
