In rural Alabama, an angry disaffected pawnshop owner named Mel and his man-child sidekick Nathan, team up with a married couple to cash in on a family heirloom: a sword believed by alt-history conspiracy nuts to be proof that the South won the Civil War, but ultimately, what the sword is worth may be in the eyes of the beholder.
