Wealthy Kishan Oberoi (Shammi Kapoor) has two sons: Dilip (Shakti Kapoor) and Ashish (Rana Jung Bahadur). He does not trust them and is overly devoted to his grandson Raj (Govinda (actor)), who reciprocates his favoritism.
