Sheds light on one of the most controversial stories of the War of Independence. At the end of 1947, an Egyptian film director joins a force of volunteers who set out to help the Palestinian Arabs. They are located in the village at the foot of which Kibbutz Nitzanim is located, where the kibbutz members are preparing for defense. While the two sides are close to a violent confrontation, the youth dictate their own story - the director finds to his surprise much in common between the young people on both sides. A female figure - Mira Ben-Ari - who refuses to vacate the besieged kibbutz caught his eye. When war breaks out, the director is required to document the victory picture but an unexpected development devours the cards.
