Erik and Chris actually want to skip the holidays for a year, but have to drastically change their plan at the last minute. Fabie faces a big disappointment and Carola and Marcel are startled by a shocking event during Christmas dinner. The atmosphere at Tim and Dina also leaves much to be desired, after a Christmas party at Tim's work that got out of hand. The grandparents know exactly what's going on and, as always, provide razor-sharp commentary: the more we do our best to suppress everything that is complicated or negative, the greater the chance of violent explosions.
